Practice Plan Membership Policy

Introduction to our Membership Plan

Joining our membership plan offers you a convenient prepayment option for your dental care needs. Enrolling in one of our plans gives you access to a structured system that ensures you receive a set number of examinations and hygiene visits per year at regular intervals. The unique aspect of this plan is that your entitlement to these services begins once you have made a specific number of monthly payments.

Let's take an example to illustrate how this works. Suppose your clinician recommends you have two examinations per 12-month period. The first examination covered by your plan will be scheduled once you have completed six monthly payments towards your membership. This means that after half a year of being on the plan and consistently making payments, you will become eligible for your first covered examination.

This payment-based structure ensures fairness and allows you to pace your visits evenly throughout the year. It also provides you with the assurance that you will receive the recommended number of examinations and hygiene visits without any additional out-of-pocket expenses once you fulfil the necessary payment requirements.

Plan Options

We have carefully designed a range of membership plans to cater to your individual needs as a patient, ensuring comprehensive and personalised care. When it comes to children, the available plan options are tailored based on their age, guaranteeing age-appropriate dental care. For adults, our clinicians will assess your specific requirements and recommend the plan that best suits your oral health needs. However, we understand that preferences may change over time, and you have the flexibility to switch plans if desired.

The primary distinction among our adult plans lies in the number and frequency of hygiene visits included. Our clinicians will help you determine the ideal plan that aligns with your oral hygiene goals, ensuring regular check-ups and cleanings to maintain optimal dental health.

From the Moment You Join

In addition to the structured payment system for examinations and hygiene visits, our membership plan offers several other immediate benefits. One of the key advantages is that being on the plan saves you money compared to paying for routine care on a pay-as-you-go basis. The plan provides exclusive discounts on treatments and is available to you from the moment you join the plan without the need for any waiting or accrual period.

Emergency Care

If you’re experiencing a dental problem or emergency, in or outside our normal clinic hours, subject to triage, you will be offered an appointment to be assessed free of charge.

Note: Charges may apply for any treatment that is required, over and above the assessment. Any associated costs will be outlined to you verbally as well as in writing within a treatment plan estimate, with payment required on the day.

Moreover, as a member, you gain access to the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme*. This valuable feature ensures that even when you are away from home, you have access to emergency dental treatment worldwide. This offers you peace of mind and a sense of security, knowing that you are covered in case of unexpected dental emergencies.

Cancelling Your Membership

While we strive to provide flexibility, we understand that circumstances may change. Therefore, you have the option to cancel your plan at any time. However, it's important to note that if you receive treatment at the discounted rate and decide to cancel within 12 months following the completion of that treatment, the discount equivalent will be owed to the practice. This policy helps maintain fairness and ensures that the benefits and discounts provided by the plan are utilised appropriately.
